I’ve been in the throes of an interesting convergence: My night dreams, my day dreams, my lectio meditations, and my weird agnostic prayers have all narrowed into one singular focus. a I’ve never really experienced this before - I usually have my fingers in lots of different pies and am left speechless as to how to explain to others that they are all, for me, one thing. But now, I think they are in fact emerging in a new exciting collaborative project as one thing that is also many things. A new consolidated mission has erupted, kind of all at once, and kind of slowly simmering for a decade. I’m in the process, with the help of others, of building a home for the dream collections that I have gathered up, a place for our dreams to hang out together, for discussion and creative amplification, and for new dreams to join in - dreams about what has happened to us, and what keeps happening, and to consider how and if shared dreaming as a community process might help us envision a path toward a better way to live. I’ll share more as I am able - but in the meantime I am noticing and acclimating to immersing myself in yet another compelling, if unifying folly.
